Indianapolis, IN — The Indiana Commission for Higher Education (CHE) is offering Next Generation Hoosier Educator Scholarships to future educators committed to teaching in Indiana for at least five years after college graduation, according to State Senator Jeff Raatz (R-Richmond).
Qualified students must have either graduated in the top 20% of their high school class or earned a score in the top 20th percentile on the SAT or ACT.
Recipients receive up to $7,500 a year for up to four academic years. To continue earning this renewable scholarship in college, students must file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) each year, maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA, and complete at least 30 credit hours per year.
