WPR’s HD Radio Service

In addition to analog AM and FM broadcasts, WPR offers digital HD Radio broadcasts in some parts of the state. The HD Radio service offers The Ideas Network and NPR News & Music and programs alongside WPR’s All Classical programs.

Only listeners who live in one of the broadcast areas found on the All Classical station map and who use a HD Radio receiver will be able to hear the network over the air. HD Radio receivers can be found online and generally have the ability to pick up AM and FM stations as well. If you have trouble receiving a signal, consider using an antenna. Even a short, indoor wire antenna can greatly improve reception for AM, FM and HD Radios. Find more tips on Improving Your Radio Reception

WPR’s broadcasts, including it’s All Classical network, can also be streamed via the free WPR mobile app, most smart speakers and on this website.
