During commemorations in Kiev’s Maidan, or Independence Square , to mark 25 years of Ukrainain independence on Wednesday , Poroshenko thanked Polish President Andrzej Duda, who was in attendance, for the international support the country gave Ukraine during the conflict with Russia.
