South Korea’s Im Jyoung-hwa will be awarded the silver medal in the women’s 48-kilogram weightlifting event of the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics. The International Olympic Committee(IOC) announced on Friday that Chen Xiexia of China, who took home the gold in the event during the 2008 Games, was disqualified for violating antidoping rules.
