River resort plan could bring in overseas tourism dollars

A MAJOR eco-tourism resort on the edge of the Murray River, which could become a drawcard for international tourists, has been proposed near Corowa.

Plans for the $10 million project to be known as the Warrawidgee Island Conservation Resort will be presented to an upcoming Joint Regional Planning Panel for determination.
