Removed during Najib’s time, Hamid Bador now named acting DIGP

Four years ago, Abdul Hamid Bador alleged that he was a victim of a conspiracy when he was removed as the Special Branch deputy chief and transferred to the Prime Minister’s Department. This was related to the alleged crackdown on investigators looking into the 1MDB and SRC International scandal involving the then prime minister, Najib Abdul Razak.
