L3 Technologies has received a contract modification to supply the M783 point detonating / delay (PD/DLY) mortar fuse for the US Army. Valued at $32m, the contract was awarded under a foreign military sales (FMS) programme. The equipment purchased will be used by an undisclosed international customer, L3 said in a statement.
