in the village of Aberlady, East Lothian , Scotland is a hidden jewel of a links course that hosts a unique international competition. This is the ‘Alternative Ryder Cup’ which is played between two teams of twelve golfers from the United States and Europe. They play the tournament every alternate year using pre-1930’s hickory shafts.
