MILWAUKEE (dpa-AFX) – Johnson Controls (JCI) announced its board of directors has approved the previously announced spin-off of its global automotive seating and interiors business. The transaction will result in two independent, publicly traded companies: Johnson Controls International plc and Adient plc.
