Africa: U.S. Expands Ventilator Support to South Africa to Battle COVID-19

The first 50 ventilators arrived in South Africa in May and has since been installed in hospitals in the Western Cape, Gauteng, and the Eastern Cape. The U.S. government, through the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), has delivered a second shipment of 100 ventilators to South Africa to assist with its national response to COVID-19.
