MERIDEN — Thomas Martin, the organist and pianist for First United Methodist Church, will share stories and pieces of his music career playing the church’s new Baldwin piano on Sunday.
“Pieces of My Life” is an autobiographical musical journey of Martin’s experiences as a student and artist beginning in the 1960s. He will share the music that influenced his studies and work on the seven-foot grand piano the church obtained through the generosity of the late Fran Clark, a former organist, with additional funding by Gene McLean.
The concert begins at 4 p.m. on Sunday.
