Today, noncommercial radio stations are celebrating the fourth annual Public Radio Music Day. This nationwide celebration recognizes public radio music stations, the artists they feature and the listeners who tune in. These noncommercial stations are a primary puzzle piece in the music industry, allowing both artists to share their work and listeners to discover new music.
The theme this year is “Building Community Through Music” and WFUV is proud to participate as a fellow noncommercial public radio music station that provides the New York, New Jersey and Connecticut communities with new artists and classic favorites.
