STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) — The 53rd edition of the World’s Largest Trivia Contest is taking to the seven seas.
Organizers of the 54-hour fundraising and brain-teasing marathon have announced that this year’s theme is “A Trivia Life for Me,” a play off the song “Yo Ho (A Pirate’s Life for Me,)” and also a nod to those long-time trivia players who make it a point to get together for each year’s game.
The format for the contest hasn’t changed. Teams will be invited to listen for questions on the University’s student-run radio station beginning April 14th at 6 PM. Eight questions will be presented each hour, and players will have the length of two songs to submit their answers and rack up points. Questions will run for 54 consecutive hours, ending at midnight on Sunday, April 16th.
