Newquay Zoo has closed due to on-going problems with their sewage system.
They announced a closure earlier this afternoon (Tuesday 16th August) and will remain temporarily be shut until Thursday.
In a post, they’ve written: “Due to issues with our sewage system, NEWQUAY ZOO IS CLOSED TODAY AND TOMORROW.
“To all of you who have booked tickets you will have the option to reschedule to another day or receive a full refund. However, our phone lines are very busy today so please can we ask that you hold off calling us until tomorrow if possible”.
At 3pm, the zoo issued an update on the issues they are facing and when they will be resolved.
