Disruption in Looe caused by spring flooding

Emergency Services are on the scene of a road closure

There’s problems with flooding in some parts of Looe this morning – with Quay Road closed to traffic.

It’s because of spring flooding, and emergency services, including Fire and Rescue are on the scene.

Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service (CFRS) says it is assisting with the temporary road closure which it claims has come as a result of ‘high spring tides’

As well as on the roads, some trains this morning might be affected.

GWR say that because of flooding between Liskeard and Looe, the line is blocked

There are also several flood warnings are in place around Cornwall.
