Bruce Bugbee & Diana West, supporters of nonprofit journalism in Utah, will host a fundraiser for The Tribune and Utah Public Radio on Aug. 14 in Logan.
The garden party will include a catered dinner, live music, art demonstrations, silent auction and tours of the house and gardens. This year the garden theme honors Ukraine.
Longtime Tribune cartoonist Pat Bagley will join attendees for the event, and Tribune editor Lauren Gustus will host a Q&A with him. A signed Bagley cartoon will also be available for auction.
Proceeds will support independent reporting in northern Utah, and The Tribune and Utah Public Radio will make a significant announcement at the event.
