This newspaper opens with a war: the one led by Elon Musk with the mainstream media, especially those that do not go his way. There National Public Radio (NPR) – the public radio of the United States – recently decided to

give up his 9 million followers on Twitterand leave the social network.

A reaction to the new label attributed by the billionaire, that of “state-affiliated media” while the NPR receives only one percent of its budget from the US state. But, beyond the figures, it is indeed its image of independence which is threatened with this assignment. The public would be tempted to believe that it is a propaganda organ, as exists with the Russian media Russia Today (RT) you Sputnik.

Elon Musk nevertheless retraced his steps, proposing as a new mention: “state-funded media”. However, radio NPR will stick to its guns until the Twitter ecosystem becomes more stable.
