Student radio stations nominated for 6 national awards

Rider’s student-run radio stations, 107.7 The Bronc and 107.7 The Bronc Retro, were nominated for six Intercollegiate Broadcast System Media Awards. The awards recognize outstanding programming from college and university radio stations throughout the U.S.

Nominations included:

  • Best use of social media: Kayla May, senior marketing major and social media director for 107.7 The Bronc
  • Best sports updateThe Overtime on 107.7 The Bronc Retro, hosted by Sean Harrington, senior sports media major
  • Best station IDDessert Wars: Flour Power, created by Tiffani Britton, senior dance and film and television major
  • Best promo seriesThe Scream Screen Blood Drive, created by Britton
  • Best giveaway: Cruisin’ From Commencement, produced by the full staff of 107.7 The Bronc
  • Best contest/promotion: The Return of Scream Screen, produced by the full staff of 107.7 The Bronc
