Help (MSU-WP) and the Grizzly Booster Club celebrate the new athletic seasons by attending the annual Grizzly Fall Picnic at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14, at the West Plains Civic Center exhibit hall. A complimentary meal sponsored by Wayward Sons Productions will be served free of charge. Grizzly Basketball Head Coach Jared Phay, Grizzly Softball Coach Don Long and Grizzly Cheer Team Coach Stephanie Jeckstadt will be on hand to introduce the basketball, softball and cheer teams, respectively, and give previews of the upcoming seasons. Immediately following the picnic, the Grizzly Volleyball team will host its season home opener against Region 16 archrival Jefferson College in the civic center arena.
