The patience of BLEACH fans was tested over the course of the last few weeks, with crucial news about the series’ return still not being communicated through official channels. That changed; however, on Monday, when VIZ announced on their official Twitter page that the upcoming return of the anime adaptation of Tite Kubo’s hit manga would be available in the US on Hulu, and Disney+ internationally.

The news comes a week before the franchise’s big day, and after a fair amount of fan discontent with the series’ handling by VIZ. The developments also arise after the removal of the original BLEACH series on Crunchyroll, adding more to the chagrin regarding the lack of streaming information. The series, having recently dropped an anniversary release of the original manga, has been highly anticipated since the end of the manga in August 2016.
