Frontier Airlines will stop operating at Rochester airport in May

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport is losing a carrier.

Monroe County announced on Saturday that Frontier Airlines will stop operating at the airport on May 9. The county says the airline is hopeful to return in the future.

Since 2021, Frontier has been flying between Rochester and Orlando year-round and between Rochester and Tampa in the winter months.
