The BSF deployed on the India-Bangladesh border is not only guarding the international border but also organizes awareness programs from time to time to curb the crimes and misdeeds happening on the border. In this connection, on July 25, 2023, from 1400 hrs to 1530 hrs, Anti Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) of 70 Battalion under South Bengal Frontier and ‘Shakti Vahini’ NGO, Malda organized an awareness program related to prevention of human trafficking and other crimes at Jadupur Anchal High School, (Kamlabadi), Malda.
In this awareness programme, the Anti Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) of BSF informed the villagers on topics like human trafficking, child marriage, child abuse, child labour, gender discrimination, misuse of Social Media and importance of education etc. About 25 teachers and 245 school girls…
