The meeting is being convened to:
(i) Share Mozambique’s best practices and lessons learned in implementing the Maputo Accord for Peace and National Reconciliation; and
(ii) Facilitate exchange on the experiences of other countries and contexts.
The meeting would also provide an opportunity to reflect on wider peacebuilding efforts in countries affected by terrorist attacks, where rebuilding is necessary and international community’s support would be crucial.
