By India Today Web Desk: The 53rd International Film Festival of India (IFFI) began on Sunday, November 20. Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur was joined by Bollywood actors Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan for the inauguration. Several other film personalities also graced the red carpet. The opening ceremony was hosted by Aparshakti Khurana.
The inaugural ceremony began by honouring all individuals for their outstanding contributions to cinema. Several members from the film industry were felicitated with special honours at the opening ceremony of IFFI 2022.
