SULAIMANI — Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani
said his upcoming visit to Turkey will focus on water resources and border
security.
Sudani said in a statement shared with Iraqi News Agency
(INA) that his visit coincides with positive developments currently ongoing in
the Middle East in terms of strengthening cooperation between regional
countries, efforts to achieve economic goals and to resolve disputes through
dialogue.
The meetings will focus on strengthening relations between
Iraq and Turkey in all fields and implementing a number of projects in the
energy and transportation sectors.
Sudani is scheduled to visit Turkey on Tuesday to meet with
a number of officials.
