SULAIMANI — The Iraqi governorate of Karbala joined a
movement to boycott Turkish products on Saturday (July 23).
Public outrage over the Turkish bombardment that killed nine
civilians at a tourist resort in Duhok’s Zakho has continued over the past few
days with increasing measures announced.
The Karbala Chamber of Commerce published a statement
calling on residents to not to visit Turkey for tourism or medical related
travel.
The chamber also asked the public to stop purchasing Turkish
goods, stating the country was guilty of attacking Iraqi families.
