By Jaime Llinares Taboada

Shares in Digitalbox PLC fell Wednesday after it said challenging conditions could hurt revenue in the second half, despite performance in the first half of the year being significantly ahead of its expectations.

The digital media business reported that its revenue rose 40% in the six months ended June 30, to 1.9 million pounds ($2.3 million).

However, Digitalbox warned of challenging macroeconomic conditions hurting revenue in the second half, although it expects to meet market expectations for the full year.

Shares at 0718 GMT were down 13% at 10.5 pence.
