The DRM Consortium has released details of some of its plans for the first half of the new year. The organization says it aims to pursue even more vigorously its main strategic directions, namely, to establish DRM as the preferred global standard for digitizing all bands and offering full and flexible coverage, to expand in key markets of Asia, Africa and Europe, to push for new, up-to-date receiver solutions, and to promote DRM as the perfect solution for delivering emergency warnings and distance learning.

DRM says that to achieve these goals, it will engage in face-to-face meetings and attend and present at conferences, workshops and seminars. It is also already preparing for its annual General Assembly in the UAE in May.

DRM members are currently at CES 2024 in Las Vegas, and the organization intends to participate in the A24 Global Coordination Conference, Jan. 15–19,…
