Nautilus has found itself a new streaming home at AMC after originally being scrapped by another network.
According to TVLine, the British drama series, which was commissioned by Disney+ then scrapped in order to cut costs, has been picked up by AMC.
Inspired by the Jules Verne novel Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, the 10-episode live-action series is set to air at some point in 2024.
The series “tells the origin story of the iconic Captain Nemo, an Indian prince robbed of his birthright and family” who becomes “a prisoner of the East India Mercantile Company and a man bent on revenge against the forces that have taken everything from him”.
