DESPITE several assurances by the National Broadcasting Commission, NBC, and other stakeholders, there still appears a dark cloud shrouding Nigeria’s ability to switch to digital broadcasting by June 20, 2017. This is after Nigeria had failed to meet the deadline for the Digital Switch-Over, DSO, on two consecutive occasions in the last six years.
