Euryn Ogwen Williams, broadcaster and towering figure in Welsh media, produced and directed a wide range of programmes for BBC, ITV company Television Wales and the West, and HTV. When S4C was founded in 1982, he became its first programme director, with one of its most famous early programmes being children’s favourite SuperTed.
