Firefox sounds like a great Smart TV foundation, but Panasonic’s efforts will only appeal to people looking to keep things simple. The battles between television makers tend to be over picture quality – like the ongoing war between OLED and LED – but the major vendors also sink a lot of effort into their competing Smart TV platforms.
