Askar Zhumagaliev has become the new head of KazAtomProm national nuclear company of Kazakhstan, Tengrinews reports citing the press office of the national company.
“Askar Zhumagaliev has been appointed the Chairman of the Board. The Minister of Energy Vladimir Shkolnik and the Chairman of the Board of Samruk Kazyna Umirzak Shukeev introduced the new Chairman Askar Zhumagaliev, the former Vice Minister of Investments and Development to the company’s staff. His appointment was approved at the early meeting of the company’s directors and by the government,” the spokesperson of the company said.
