Analogue TV will be switched off in October 2012

There’s just over a year to go until our digital tv switchover is complete. Communications Minister Pat Rabbitte announced this morning that Wednesday the 24th of October next year will mark the point at which Ireland’s analogue tv network is switched off. It’s being replaced by the new digital network, called Saorview.
