The 800 MHz radio spectrum has now been cleared for 4G mobile broadband signalling the end of a four-year process, Ofcom has announced. Previously used for broadcasting digital TV and wireless audio devices, the spectrum is now available for use following the upgrade of a number of transmitters and the retuning of TV receivers.
