It was one of the first local authorities in Scotland to provide iPads to all pupils in primary six and above.
Scottish Borders Council’s Inspire Learning programme has, it’s being claimed, helped to transform teaching across the region.
It was expanded to include children in P4 and 5 during the Covid-19 pandemic.
And now education chiefs hope to build on that success with the opening of Inspire Learning: Tweedbank – a new digital space, opposite the Borders Railway terminus.
