Nine Radio in ‘damage control’ following Jacqui Felgate scandal

The Australian’s Media Writer Sophie Elsworth says Nine Radio is in “damage control” because of their newly appointed 3AW host Jacqui Felgate.

Ms Felgate was found to have a raft of lucrative deals which were only disclosed by the radio station after The Australian asked why they had not been declared on its commercial disclosure register.

“I revealed that their newly appointed 3AW Drive host Jacqui Felgate had 15 lucrative deals – commercial deals that were not disclosed on the commercial register by the station and as a result dozens of deals have been since disclosed across their four radio stations,” Ms Elsworth told Sky News Digital Editor Jack Houghton.

“This week I reported that 3AW have updated their registers, they have provided information to the media regulator on this, but this is continuing to unfold.
