Naim Challenges The BBC With New And Higher-Quality Radio Stations

I am a huge radio fan. I love listening to music that’s been carefully curated by others specifically to introduce me to new music that I might not have heard otherwise. Radio has always been good at doing that, especially here in the UK where the BBC has been in the vanguard when it comes to showcasing a huge diversity of music via public radio channels. 

Sadly, the BBC has decided to take a machete to some of its best music programming to attract a younger audience. In the past year or so, the majority of my favorite music programs have been axed. The latest show to be culled is the fabulous jazz singer and broadcaster Clare Teal’s Big Band and Swing program on BBC Radio 2.
