Man jailed for life for murdering north London pensioner

A man’s been jailed for at least 35 years for murdering a woman before taking her money and hiding her body in a graveyard in north London.

Serkan Kaygusuz got his hands on 300-thousand pounds of Norma Girolami’s money after befriending her at a local swimming pool.

In May 2021 she refused to give anymore cash and the 42 year old killed her – in what a judge described as a “premeditated” murder.
