CRA has released the nominees for this year’s Australian Commercial Radio Awards (ACRAs).
As part of the awards program, eight people are in the running for two awards in the Best Music Director category – four for ‘non-metro’ and four for ‘metro’.
In the metro category, it’s two iHeartRadio staffers up against one each from Kiis 106.5 and Nova – putting ARN’s total at three.
Leanne ‘Stampsy’ Stamps has been a music director and programmer at ARN’s iHeartRadio since early last year.
In the Best Music Director (Metro) category, she is up against colleague Shannon Fong, the music and operations manager for iHeartRadio.
Fellow ARN staffer Brad McNicol is up for his role as Kiis 106.5’s music director.
The non-ARN outlier in the category is Scott Baker-Smith, who is the Nova Network’s head of music.
