The 24-member Politburo and the 205-member Central Committee of the Communist Party of China see a large proportion of highly educated and experienced individuals, many with doctoral degrees, representing a wide field, including finance, nuclear sciences, aeronautics, precision engineering, ecology, and minority affairs.
