TEHRAN (FNA)- The Syrian army received a new generation of portable surveillance radar systems from Russia.

The Russian radar systems called FARA-I detects movable targets such as military servicemen and vehicles from a distance of 4 kilometers, the Russian-language media outlets reported. The FARA-I is a lightweight and non-bulky radar system which can be carried by one man, but it need two persons for operation.
