Hyderabad: Madhura Nagar police registered a case on Sunday in connection with a theft in Dec, 2023, after a 12-year-old boy lodged a complaint. After investigation, they traced the phone. However, they were tight-lipped about the offender and did not divulge details of the case.
The class 6 student, in his complaint, said that in Dec, when he along with his mother were returning home after buying vegetables, an unidentified person came from the rear and snatched his mother’s purse from his hand.The purse had his mother’s mobile phone and some cash too.
After the complaint, police uploaded the lost mobile details on CEIR portal and started an inquiry. TNN
