Plaid Cymru pledges to axe six-day standstill rule for Welsh livestock

has pledged to scrap the six-day standstill rule for livestock if it wins power in May’s National Assembly elections. In its Agriculture Manifesto, to be launched today, the party said it would also introduce a strategy to save council farms from being sold off , and take “decisive action” to tackle bovine TB in wildlife.
