Men exist to keep population genetically healthy?

Males are required for a process known as “sexual selection” which helps species to ward off disease and avoid extinction, a new study claims. The research from the University of East Anglia shows that an evolutionary force known as ‘sexual selection’ can explain the persistence of sex as a dominant mechanism for reproducing offspring.
