Aspiring filmmakers from University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman were treated to a day of creativity and inspiration courtesy of Infinix’s Mobile Vlog Awards workshop recently at the UP Film Institute (UPFI) Film Studios.
The workshop included an insightful talk by director Mark Putian of Wonderlast Films. Known for creating compelling and thought-provoking indie films, Putian shared his expertise with the rise of mobile filmmaking.
Putian delved into the basics of mobile filmmaking, from finding inspiration to creating shot compositions in the topic “The Art of Visual Storytelling.” He also talked about the technicalities of basic cinematography and good editing with the help of CapCut to tell an effective story.
