Dish’s Boost Wireless Expands, Now Covers 140M People

The addition of 12 cities brings Dish’s Boost Mobile wireless network to 89 markets. The company says that its footprint now covers 140 million people.

The new markets are Billings MT; Cincinnati; Columbia, SC; Denver; Philadelphia, Fayetteville, NC; Jacksonville, FL; Minneapolis; Portland, OR; Shreveport, Tucson and Washington, DC.

Dish noted that Boost Mobile and Boost Infinite service now supports voice over new radio (VoNR), which relies solely on 5G for service. Boost Mobile is the name that Dish uses for its prepaid service. Boost Infinite is the name for Dish’s postpaid service. Pricing for the former starts at $15 per month and the latter at $25 per month.
