Major mainland telecom companies have seen their customer numbers steadily increase this year.
China Mobile (0941) saw its total customers increase by 16.36 million to 973.25 million as of October this year, though it lost 786,000 customers last month alone.
Meanwhile, China Unicom (0762) announced the numbers of “Big Connectivity” subscribers and 5G package subscribers have risen to 850.44 million and 205 million respectively.
And China Telecom (0728) said its mobile subscribers reached 390.48 million with an 18.05 million cumulative net increase of mobile subscribers for the year ended October.
