“I would never stand in the path of a tornado just to get footage,” said Todd Rector with the Iowa Storm Chasing Network. Rector has chased more severe storms than he can count as a trained chaser with an extensive knowledge of storm structure. “You’d never know where (a tornado) is going to go,” said Rector.
