‘Prime Suspect: Who Took Madeleine McCann’ – everything to know about Christian Brueckner

The BBC is broadcasting a new Panorama episode tonight which will look into the 2007 disappearance of British girl Madeline McCann in Praia de Luz, Portugal.

‘Prime Suspect: Who Took Madeleine McCann?’ will take a look back at the case on the day that Madeline’s parents, Kate and Gerry McCann, revealed they have been offered an official apology by Portuguese police. In the show, airing at 8pm on Monday, October 30, Mr McCann confirms that a delegation of senior officers travelled to London to apologise for making both parents suspects in their daughter’s disappearance.

The Panorama special will follow reporter Richard Bilton as he follows the case against Christian Brueckner, who is now considered the main suspect by German investigators. No trace of Madeleine has ever been found, with German investigators believing she is no longer alive.
